Work in Japan with the Specified Skilled Worker visa.
The SSW visa (Tokutei Ginou) lets you work in Japan in fields that need workers. This page explains how it works, in short and simple English. It is free.

How the SSW visa works
- SSW covers 16 fields, such as care work, food service, farming, construction, and manufacturing.
- You pass two tests: a Japanese test (JFT-Basic or JLPT N4) and a skills test for your field.
- After you pass, a company in Japan can hire you. Then you apply for the visa.
- Watch out for bad brokers. Real information and honest agencies do not ask for large fees.
